Description
The Ice Palace Ice Palace – Sports and Concert Complex in St. Petersburg is a grand sports and entertainment venue, which was built from 1998 to 2000 specifically for the Ice Hockey World Championship.
In the beginning the Ice Palace in St. Petersburg was conceived solely as a place for top level sport competitions on ice. There were even plans to rent the naming platform to a well-known brewing company, but eventually that idea was abandoned and the name became a household name.
The arena is also the venue for business conferences, exhibitions and presentations.
