Description
The Olympic Sports Palace is a multi-purpose sports complex where you can hold sports competitions in various sports such as hockey, figure skating, all kinds of wrestling, basketball, volleyball, sports dancing, mini football, pop stars, ice shows, festive events. The palace has been operating since 2005.
In January 2011, on the basis of the Olympic Sports Palace, by order of the Government of the Ryazan region, a Children's and youth sports school was established, which operates in two winter Olympic sports: ice hockey and figure skating. At various times, Zemfira, DDT, Aria and Valery Kipelov, Sergey Zhukov and the band "Hands Up" and many others managed to perform here. In addition to sports events and shows, excellent conditions for family holidays are created here. Currently, the complex has a gym, table tennis, billiard room, air hockey, as well as infrared and Finnish saunas.
The Ice Palace was built specifically to activate mass sports, physical culture and recreation, cultural and mass work, in order to organize leisure activities, attract the population of Ryazan and the Ryazan region to systematic physical education and sports.
