History of "Animal Jazz" began in 2000, when the musicians got together and began rehearsing. Soon after this, they gave their first concert, which became the official birthday of the group.
The name of the group was not chosen by chance. One day, the first drummer of the group, Sergei Egorov, spoke about his participation in a project called “Animal Jazz”, where he was the only surviving participant. Despite the dark history, the musicians decided to use this name, and it became the symbol of the group.
During his career, “Animal Jazz” released 8 electric albums, 4 acoustic, 16 singles and 4 DVDs. They also took part in many festivals and performed for such famous bands as Rollins Band, Garbage, Clawfinger, The Rasmus, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, The Vaccines, Linkin Park.
In 2006, the group recorded the soundtrack for the film "Graffiti", which was successfully presented at the Tokyo International Film Festival. Their songs are also heard in various TV series on central television channels.
